Submission Guidelines

Theme: Liminality, from the Latin limen, means threshold: betwixt or between, a state of transition. Before you move out, when you file for divorce, while you forge your identity, time slows. Uncanny hours in public places— forgotten houses, airports at twilight, and adolescent stomping grounds— operate as stages for where we are and where we’re going. Liminal spaces exist within us; the unconscious can warp our reality through sleep paralysis and daydreaming. There are infinite numbers between one and two and liminality is that infinity.

Our previous themes have been: freedom, heirlooms
