We are a team of like-minded and dedicated individuals, driven by a passion to help other writers hone their craft and connect writers from around the world under an annual unifying theme.
In the beginning of the new semester AIO will meet and officially announce the new editor-in-chiefs and managing editor and officially begin interviews for new genre editors, copy editors, and slush reader positions.

Adam Shurtleff is a senior at Indiana University with a major in English and concentration in Creative Writing. While he is on track to obtain a PhD in Literature, he carries his inner poet with him wherever he can and treats all his research like creative writing projects. He adores Cabaret, Adrienne Rich, and any poet who dares to blend Cabaret with Adrienne Rich.
Marissa Hubbard: Marissa Hubbard is a junior at Indiana University majoring in English with a concentration in Public and Professional Writing and a minor in Marketing. As much as she loves all varieties of literature, Jane Austen remains the most occurring name on her shelf and inspires her to focus not only the story but the characters that embody it; both in life and in print. And If you can quote Mr. Darcy you just might have her heart.
Elise Suarez: Elise Suarez is a junior triple majoring in English, History, and Folklore & Ethnomusicology. She is a collector of crystals and an enthusiast of all things Halloween. She loves classics like Jane Eyre, Pride and Prejudice, and Frankenstein, but she also won’t hesitate to pick up anything written by John Green. If you use the Oxford comma and collect literary mugs, she might fall in love with you.
Grace Cutshaw: Grace Cutshaw is a junior at IU majoring in Comparative Literature and minoring in Creative Writing. She could not possibly pick a favorite book as she has loved so many, but she loves YA authors Tahereh Mafi, Roshani Chokshi, and Marie Lu (this is as specific as she is willing to go). She is obsessed with her dogs and well-crafted sentences.
Creative Nonfiction Editors
